Here is how a Shoreline dock comes together, from the aluminum frame to the local install.
We design, sell, and install aluminum floating docks: straight, L-, T-, and U-shapes, boat-slip layouts, swim platforms, and multi-section runs. The first question is what the dock is for. A fishing-and-swimming dock is a different build from a boat-slip dock, and both are different again from a ranch-pond platform.
The frames and decking are marine-grade aluminum, which doesn't rot, warp, or need annual sealing the way wood does. We handle it end to end: help you choose the configuration, decking, and layout that fit your shoreline, then install it locally.

What’s under the decking
The CAT5 system is a premium residential floating-dock design, factory-built and spec’d, sold, and installed for Texas water by us. Every dock is built to the site’s weight and wind-load requirements. Here is the engineering, piece by piece:

9-Inch Mainframe
A 9-inch aluminum mainframe extrusion with integrated gusset supports and interlocking connections, spreading weight evenly across the frame.

4-Inch Octagonal Poles
Strong, clean-lined octagonal poles that carry both roof and upper-deck structures.

Heavy-Duty Corners
A patented corner extrusion interlocks with the channel pieces and carries the roof poles, moving stress off the welded joints where mitered corners often fail.

Noise-Eliminating Bushings
Patented wear-minimizing bushings sit between the metal-to-metal contact points (poles, receivers, gangway hinges), so the dock stays quiet underfoot.

Premium Dock Floats
High-impact polyethylene floats with a foam core: buoyancy that doesn't crack or waterlog.

Through-Bolted Roof Supports
Roof poles are through-bolted to heavy-duty receivers top and bottom, and seat the full depth of the frame as fixed columns, which raises the allowable load for roofs and upper decks.

Rigid Roof Structure
An engineered roof frame, designed to the wind-load specification for your site.

Engineered Railing System
Compatible with custom glass rail, picket rail, or cable railing options.

Heavy-Duty Hinge
A proprietary gangway hinge rail, welded or bolted to the dock frame.

Gusset Reinforcements
Welded gussets strengthen the mainframe and support the stringers.

Dry Joist Protection
A deck-framing detail that keeps the joists up out of standing water, protecting the substructure.

Finishing Trim Work
Numerous finishing options, including full-frame bumpers that close out the dock edge.
